Fascination of the wildlife & nature

The Brienzer Rothorn also offers to nature lovers a great variety of alpine flowers which are rarely found elsewhere today. If you take the early train up to the Rothorn, or better you stay the night in our Hotel Rothorn Kulm. So you will probably with some luck discover a herd of chamois in the rock formations. The Brienzer Rothorn is even more famous for its ibex colony.

Great view at the summit of the Brienzer Rothorn

The view which await you at the 2350 metre-high summit are quite simply breathtaking. You gaze sweeps over a stunning panorama: from the Alps of Central Switzerland with Pilatus, Rigi and Titlis to the mighty 4000-metre summits of the Bernese Alps with Eiger, Möch & Jungfrau and as far as the Chasseral in the Jura mountains.
